Bijou is renowned for being a dog’s favourite café, so much so that they won ‘Best Dog Friendly Place to Eat’ in the UK! They serve tasty homemade breakfasts, lunches and cakes which are the perfect treat after a walk along the promenade breathing in the sea air. Plus they have a doggy menu including pawpupchinos, woofins and sausages. If you’re lucky, you might even win ‘Top Dog’ of the month!

There’s so much to see and do in the heart of Preston, with loads of indie coffee shops and cafés to discover. Town House serve delicious brunches using locally sourced produce, which you can enjoy whilst taking advantage of their book swap. They also make excellent coffees and cakes to grab and go on your commute, shopping trip or walkies. They even have pupcakes for your furbabies!

Lancaster is a city with views around every corner. Take a stroll through Williamson Park or up to the castle to build up an appetite, then head to one of our favourite brunch spots. Both Brew and Journey Social are renowned for their amazing food creations, from French toast and brunch butties to cinnamon buns and cruffins (croissant muffins!).

Cow Shed is famous for its drool-worthy fluffy pancake stacks, with new stacks being created regularly. Whatever you order you will not be disappointed, the eggs are always poached to perfection and every dish is packed with flavour. Penwortham has become a real foodie hotspot with lots of great independents as well as a monthly farmers market.
Deux Amis, Whalley- @deuxamiswhalley
Whalley and Clitheroe are perfect for days out as many of the shops and eateries are dog friendly. Plus there’s acres of rolling Ribble Valley countryside for beautiful walks. Deux Amis know how to make a proper coffee, or a fruity smoothie for summer days. They create amazing brunch sandwiches and pastries with more dine in options coming soon including gourmet burgers and grazing boards.
